Point Supreme
Point Supreme Architects was established in Rotterdam by Konstantinos Pantazis & Marianna Rentzou in 2007 and is now based in Athens. They have won 1st prize in a competition for a pier in Athens and in Europan 10 for a social housing and urban project in Trondheim, Norway. Realized projects and works in process include shops, interiors, houses and buildings in Greece, Italy and Norway. Their research and projects for the contemporary city was exhibited in the Greek Pavilion at the 13th Venice Architecture Biennale in 2012, while their work will be included in the forthcoming Collage and Architecture book which looks at the history of collage methodologies in Architecture. They teach in Greece, the Netherlands and Norway. Konstantinos Pantazis (1976) Diploma of Architecture, National Technical University Athens (2002), and Master of Excellence in Architecture, The Berlage Institute Rotterdam (2002-2005). He has worked for Anamorphosis and Christos Papoulias in Athens (2001), Jun Aoki in Tokyo (2002), Yushi Uehara in Amsterdam (2003), OΜΑ-Rem Koolhaas in Rotterdam (2003-04), Farjadi Farjadi in London (2004), 51N4E in Brussels (2005), Altoon and Porter in Amsterdam (2006), and MVRDV in Rotterdam (2007-08). He has participated in numerous workshops, exhibitions publications and international competitions. His thesis at the Berlage under the collective title 'Brussels – A Manifesto: Towards the Capital of Europe' was published in 2007 from NAi Editions. He is a founding member of Point Supreme Architects who are based in Athens. Marianna Rentzou (1975) Diploma of Architecture, National Technical University Athens (2002), and Master of Architecture, Bartlett School of Architecture in London (2003-2004). She has worked for Maxwan Architects and Urbanists (2005), MVRDV (2005-2006) and OMA- Rem Koolhaas (2005, & 2007-2008) . In OMA she worked as an architect for projects in the Middle East such as the Waterftont City, a city of 8.000.000 inhabitants and the icon studies for Waterfront City, Bawadi Gates, Sama Lagoons, Qatar Conference center. She was the project leader for the Dubai Creek theater project and OMA's Dubai Next exhibition in Basel. She has participated in numerous workshops, exhibitions publications and international competitions. She is a founding member of Point Supreme Architects who are based in Athens.
